MASTER OF TECHNOLOGY ( M.TECH ) FULL TIME & PART TIME
M. Tech is a professional Two Years Postgraduate Master Degree Programme in technology awarded to candidates after completion of two years of study in the discipline of engineering/technology. The M. Tech. degree is offered across various specializations.
The University offers 25 M.Tech. programmes across its various academic departments in different disciplines. Academic curricula are so devised that a student of one discipline can take some courses of other disciplines offering choice based credit system (CBCS). Such flexibility helps a student to develop his core competence together with the interdisciplinary skills in the area of his/her interest. It also give students significant research experience along with fairly broad coursework.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
The details of the essential qualifications required for different M. Tech. programmes in each programme is given in Annexure-1. Candidates who possess the minimum educational qualifications are eligible to seek admission to these M. Tech programmes. In addition, candidates of General category must have secured at least 60% marks in qualifying degree or equivalent CGPA provided by the concerned Institute/ University. In case CGPA or conversion formula has not been provided by the concerned Institute/ University
ADMISSION PROCESS
o For M.Tech Full Time Programme: Merit list will be prepared based on GATE score.
o For M.Tech (Part-Time) and M.Tech (Sponsored Full-Time) programmes: Merit List shall be prepared based on percentage of marks in the qualifying degree.
