Ours being a technical university, it is of utmost importance that our students have an edge over their counterparts in areas related to developing and understanding new technologies and innovations. This is an era of global interdependence and we share ideas and developments worldwide. Today the core of everything is related to programming. Whether it is designing a basic line follower robot to as complicated as establishing the manoeuvre of an unmanned vehicle or whether it is developing an algorithm for fast processing and searching over internet, the user must have the correct programming skills to cater the corresponding need of the hour. Ranging from developing new platforms, applets or just simple games to be administered to the user over the internet to as simple as developing new and exciting web sites, everything demands for our students to have a solid programming foundation. Not only it enhances the logical reasoning of the programmer, the joy of solving complex problems and see something develop of simple loop command, makes one feel control of the situation. Our vision remains the same, to bring this world of complex algorithms, this world of logics, and conditions to the ever growing students of the university. To help arouse interest in the field of programming among new students, not only to those in the computer science and I.T branches but also those interested in non technical branches. To continue excite young programmers by bringing before them a plethora of new challenges and grow the reach of the club in the university. To try and bring in new and currently being used language and methodology as our focus of sessions. Our aim remains to form the club of strongest programmers in Delhi and participate and win in every competition we can and show our mettle. Our one of the aim will be preparing students for ACM-ICPC, which is world’s biggest programming challenge in which our college has low participation.
