Rangoli is a traditional decorative folk art of India.Design-depictions may also vary as they reflect traditions, folklore and practices that are unique to each area. The purpose of Rangoli is decoration and it is thought to bring good luck and zeal.
Therefore, we have included rangoli competition in the fest which is a perfect time to celebrate. The event also assures attractive prizes for the winners.

1st prize - Rs. 2,000
2nd prize - Rs. 1,000
3rd prize - Rs. 500

There will be only one round of competition and teams would be given max. of 2 hours of time to make rangoli.
No entry fees.

Rules of Regulations for the Event

1. Size of rangoli could be of any size min. of 60cm*60cm.
2. Participants can form a team of max. 4 members.
3. Time duration of 2 hours.
4. All participants will be given materials required. It will be rice or rangoli colors or flowers or paints.
5. Theme will be given on the spot and the rangoli should depict theme.
6. For decoration additional material can be used.
