The program is designed to cater the need of government officials, public sector units and private sectors. Public policy is a guide
to the set of actions which need to be taken by administrators with respect to specific class of issues. The actions undertaken are consistent with the laws. The program will
enable the students to develop analytical and critical skills that are relevant for understanding the concepts and intricacies of public policy and its implementation. During
the third and fourth semester, the students will be offered choices with respect to the policies they want to specialize in. They need
to select three specific courses (Discipline Specific Electives) amongst Information and Communications Technology Policy, Corporate Finance and Global Financial
Markets Policy, Urban Planning Policy, Rural Development Policy, Agricultural and Food Policy, Environmental Principles and Policy, Science and Public Policy, Law and Public
Policy, Health and Public Policy, Social Policy and Foreign Policy.
