Do you have the programming geek inside you? Are you always ready to accept the programming challenge put in front of you? If the answer is yes, then codeguru is the event for you. Your conceptual knowledge of the C++ language and the ability to apply that knowledge to solve mind-bending problems will be tested here. Codeguru is an event for those who dare to be dared.
Topics ?? No Pointers, No classes, No Data File Handling. We will test your basic knowledge and logical part of your mind to code.

RULES AND GUIDELINES

  • The participants can apply for the contest in a team of maximum 2 members.
  • There will be 2 rounds, preliminary and finals. The preliminary round will be of 30 minutes duration consisting of MCQ questions based on the concepts of C++. Top 10 teams will qualify for the next round.
  • In the final round, participants will have to solve the given problems through programming in turbo C++.
  • Registration for the event is absolutely free.
  • Register here for the event . On the spot registrations are also welcome.

NOTE-:

  1. There is a point system for the evaluation of code based on some factors such as correctness of the output for the specified range of input and level of difficulty of the question (more difficult question carries more points of course).
  2. In case 2 teams end up with same points then efficiency of the code will be calculated through a computerized timer and team with code of higher efficiency will be considered ahead of the other team.

Prizes to be Won

  • Ist Prize : Prizes worth Rs. 7500 and merit certificates.
  • IInd Prize : Prizes worth Rs. 5000 and merit certificates.
  • IIIrd Prize : Prizes worth Rs. 2500 and merit certificates.
  • participation certifactes will be given to the top 10 teams.

Note: Tatva helpdesk will be there in the campus near the canteen. Those who wish to apply for the event need to register latest by 11:15 A.M. Preliminary round will start at 11:30 A.M. Venue will be notified to the participants.
