“ASIJA Memorial Scholarship” for 10 years for excellence in Engineering at DTU, Sh. Prem Kumar Asija contributed Rs. 6 Lacs in the memory of his parents Sh. Kishan Chand Asija and Smt. Sheela Devi Asija who made innumerable sacrifices to raise their kids to a level higher than their own. The contribution will be used as follows:

(A) From an amount of Rs. 3 Lacs, Rs. 60,000/- per annum shall be awarded, on Merit cum Means basis, to one student of Electronics and Communication Engineering discipline based on his/her academic performance from Ist to VIth semester for a period of five years. Only students with CGPA 8.0 or above will be eligible.

(B) Meanwhile, the balance amount of Rs. 3 Lacs will be kept in a FD @6.50%. This is expected to help increase the scholarship amount to Rs. 85,000/- per annum for the next five years. The selection criteria will be the same as for the first five years.
