Biography of Donor:
1. Headed Data Processing Division at Indian Census organization (under MHA, Govt. of India) with responsibility for setting up IT systems and infrastructure across India for 1991 Census and beyond. Earlier worked at EIL, BHEL and BARC/PPED.
2. Got appreciation on record from UNFPA country office at Afghanistan for my contribution as International Consultant (Census EDP Specialist) in 2007.
3. As post-retirement assignment, worked as Senior Consultant at National Mission on Education through ICT under MHRD (now Min of Education) from 2012 to 2015.
4. Contributed as Assessor for accreditation/ affiliation of ITIs under NCVT, Govt of India, and as a member of AIMA/AMT Accreditation Board
5. Presently associated with various academic activities of AIMA, NMIMS, DTU/USME, etc.

Criterion:
“Dr. C.S. Arora & Sushma Arora Scholarship” amounting to Rs. 60,000/- per annum shall be awarded to a girl student of 1st year B.Tech (Mechanical Engineering) whose parents annual income is minimum out of all the applicants. If more than one girl is eligible on income criterion, then the girl with highest JEE score among all applicants may be awarded the scholarship.
