Bio Information
After completing undergraduate degree from Delhi Polytechnic, Hari Johri worked for Assam Oil Company,Sahu Chemicals and Hindustan Insecticides in India. While working for Hindustan Insecticides He completed the Diploma course in Industrial Management at Delhi University.He moved to Canada in 1965 and worked for DuPont of Canada. To further his studies, he enrolled in a post-graduate course in Management Science at University of Waterloo, Canada. He was retained as a consultant by Dupont while pursuing his studies. After completing M.A.Sc. degree, he enrolled for a Ph. D. program in Chemical Engineering at University of Waterloo. While pursuing his Ph.D. program, he provided consulting services to several Chemical industries in Canada. After completing his Ph.D, he joined the Bureau of Management Consulting, a Government of Canada undertaking as a Principal Consultant. He later served the Burau as Director and Director General. Later he joined Cooper Group, a management consulting firm as a Partner. Later the group was renamed as Cooper Johri Management Consulting Corporation. He retired and now lives in Ottawa, Canada. Criterion for Scholarship:
Scholarship amount of Rs. 60,000/- per annum each shall be awarded to 02 female students (one UG & one PG, from economically challenged background) of Computer Engg. or Environmental Engg. based on their academic performance upto previous year.
