About CCDR

The Centre for Community Development & Research (CCDR) was established at Delhi Technological University with the vision of creating a dynamic interface between academic scholarship and community empowerment. As an institutional initiative, CCDR embodies DTU's commitment to social responsibility and inclusive development, serving as a platform where theoretical knowledge converges with practical application to address the multifaceted challenges facing communities across India.

Operating at the intersection of research, education, and community engagement, CCDR functions as a specialized unit dedicated to fostering sustainable development through evidence-based interventions, capacity enhancement programs, and collaborative partnerships. The Centre undertakes participatory action research, designs comprehensive training modules, and facilitates knowledge exchange between academic researchers, development practitioners, government agencies, and community stakeholders. Through its integrated approach, CCDR strives to generate actionable insights that inform policy formulation while simultaneously empowering communities to become active agents of their own transformation.
