Welcome to the Department of Applied Physics at Delhi Technological University (DTU). The objective of the department is to create
future generations of skilled Engineers and Scientists by providing quality education through cutting edge technologies and innovative
teaching techniques so as to make them well equipped to face present and future challenges and their overall sustainable professional
growth. The Department offers both undergraduate, post graduate as well as doctoral programs. Our distinguished faculty works with zeal
and enthusiasm to achieve academic excellence by imparting quality education and leadership skills to students. In addition, they are
actively involved in R & D and have developed research laboratories that reflecting their diverse research interests, besides having
several National and International collaborations. Furthermore, Department has well-equipped technical infrastructure where students
are directed to practically implement the principles which are taught in class for the better development of the understanding of the
subjects. Furthermore, various workshops, expert talks, seminars and training programs are also organized by the Department for the
benefit of the students and faculty. Numerous Sponsored Research/Consultancy Projects have also been undertaken by the department.
The graduates of the Applied Physics Department have been placed in some of the leading multinational companies and have also been
selected for Post Graduate Programs in reputed Universities abroad and India.
