DTU hosted a three-week technical training programme for DANICS probationers (59th, 60th, and 61st batches) from 20th August 2024 to 6th September 2024. The programme was designed to enhance the probationers' technical and administrative skills through interactive sessions, hands-on training, and expert-led workshops. This initiative aimed to bridge the gap between theory and practical implementation, providing participants with the knowledge and tools necessary for effective governance.
The workshop on "Skill Development and Atmanirbhar Bharat in the Context of NEP-2020", organized by HRDC at DTU on 13th August 2024, aimed to promote a holistic approach to education by integrating traditional skills with modern educational practices. This event aimed to raise awareness about the importance of skill development and vocational training, enhance cultural appreciation by showcasing traditional arts and crafts, and inspire leadership and innovation among students and faculty members. By facilitating discussions among academia, industry leaders, and policymakers, the workshop sought to align educational practices with the evolving needs of society and industry, thus preparing participants for future challenges and opportunities.
The inaugural session of the One-Week Faculty Development Program on "Advanced Teaching Pedagogy and Outcome-Based Education in the Context of NEP-2020" was held on May 27, 2024, at Pragyan Hall, Delhi Technological University (DTU). The program was organized to enhance the teaching methodologies and align them with the transformative goals of the National Education Policy 2020.
The Workshop on "The Relevance of Ancient Technology in Modern Times," organized by HRDC at DTU on 5th April 2024, aimed to explore the intersection of ancient technology and the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020. The event sought to highlight the importance of integrating traditional Indian knowledge systems into contemporary education, aligning with the objectives outlined in NEP 2020.
The Seminar on Stress Management through Ancient Bharatiya Wisdom was organized by the HRDC, DTU on 4th April 2024. The seminar aimed to explore traditional Indian wisdom as a means to manage stress in contemporary times. It brought together esteemed speaker and participants interested in understanding and applying ancient Indian practices for modern-day stress management. the expert speakers on NEP-2020 were Dr. Meenakshi Sood, Associate Professor, NITTTR, Chandigarh and Col. B. Venkat, Director, Faculty Development Cell, All India Council for Technical Education. The Inaugural talk on “Futuristic Roadmap for Technical Higher Educational Instructions through National Education Policy (NEP) 2020” was delivered by Dr. Meenakshi Sood and another talk on “National Education Policy (NEP) 2020 and Way Ahead” was delivered by Col. B. Venkat. Both the talks were appreciated by the faculty and student participants.
Dr. Deepali Malhotra efficiently served as the compere for the event, guiding the proceedings with eloquence and expertise. A commendable total of 75 participants enthusiastically attended the workshop, reflecting the keen interest and engagement of the academic community in the relevance of ancient technology in modern times. The attendees comprised heads of departments, deans, senior professors, faculty members, and research scholars, representing diverse perspectives and expertise.
A hands-on-training on Tools for Document Writing in MS Word for administrative staff of DTU was held on March 21, 2024, Delhi Technological University, marking a significant stride in addressing productivity enhancement of administrative staff of DTU. The training was organized by the Human Resource Development Centre.

The two-day offline training program for newly appointed assistant professors in Delhi Technological University (DTU) from November 29 to 30. HRDC Director Prof. S. Anbukumar welcomed the newly appointed teachers and other guests. He hoped that every faculty member would get a lot of benefit from this training programme. DTU's finance and planning advisor, retired IAS, D.P. Dwivedi outlined the curriculum of the program and introduced the speakers. IRD Dean Prof. A.K. Trivedi said that research is not limited to teaching career only. Individual rankings are also taken into account when world rankings are prepared in research. He explained how a teacher can contribute in the research field.

Technical Legal and AI Consultant, Vivin Ahuja explained about professional ethics and noting and drafting process. Many academicians also addressed during the program. DTU Registrar and Dean (UG), Prof. Madhusudan Singh was the special guest of the inaugural function while Dean IRD Prof. a. Trivedi was the chief guest.

NEP-2020 is one of the most ambitious policy of Government of India and certainly it is a very timely topic and this need to be educated to all levels whether it is the student community or teachers’ community or the administrators.

An Online Training Program on "Government e Marketplace(GeM)" was held for the faculty members of Mechanical Engineering Department and officers/ officials of the Store & Purchase Department of Delhi Technological University. The Training program was kept on 29th July 2021.The presentation was carried on by Mr. Suraj Sharma who has been associated with GeM (i.e. Govt e Marketplace) for the last 4 years and has trained and facilitated approx 15000+ buyers and sellers combined. He is instrumental in on-boarding a lot of buyers and sellers in GeM portal and presented exceptional service in facilitation of all GeM users.
