It all starts with an idea. A sudden spark of brilliance. A flash of genius. But you can never tell where an idea will end up. Because an idea can spread, change, grow and may end up affecting the way we live. But no matter how the idea may change our lives, we all will always look back and try to understand how it all began. We admire the humble beginnings of the idea and the fertile minds which gave birth to it. We celebrate those moments of splendor and marvel at the thought processes behind the ideas.
And it is an idea such as this, that has inspired us, the Department of Applied Physics to present to you, the Annual Technical Festival..AURORA!!

Delhi Technological University is privileged to be one of the oldest institutions catering the needs of technical manpower and occupies a pivotal position in the matrix of Engineering Institutes in the country.Established as Delhi Polytechnic in 1940, the technical school was created to cater to the demands of Indian industries. DCE has been upgraded from the status of a engineering college to the position of a university and has been renamed as the Delhi Technological University. It is now a state university,with Prof. P.B. Sharma as its first Vice Chancellor.
