PROFILE

Dr Yogesh Sharma is an Assistant Professor at the Delhi School of Management (DSM), Delhi Technological University, Govt of NCT of Delhi. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Studies from Shaheed Sukhdev College of Business Studies, University of Delhi, and a Master’s in Business Administration (MBA) specializing in International Business from Jamia Millia Islamia. He has been a Senior Research Fellow (UGC) and has a PhD in Management from Jawaharlal Nehru University. He has been a Capacity Development Fellow & Project Assistant at the BRICS Research Institute, Durban, South Africa. He has also attended the São Paulo Advanced School, held at Universidade Estadual de Campinas in São Paulo, Brazil. He has attended courses at Yale University, Oxford University Press, the Asian Development Bank Institute, and the ICSSR. He has teaching experience at institutions such as the University of Delhi and JIMS, as well as corporate experience at CII, NFCG (Ministry of Corporate Affairs, Government of India), and ASSOCHAM. Additionally, he has interned at FICCI and IFFCO. He has been part of the organizing team for flagship events, such as Make in India Week. He has been awarded a UGC JRF and SRF and has qualified for the NET three times in management and commerce. He has published multiple high-quality research papers in ABDC (A, B, and C categories), ABS, SCI, ESCI, Scopus, and Web of Science-indexed journals, including those published by renowned publishers such as Nature, Emerald, Springer, Wiley, Sage, and Inderscience. He has been an expert reviewer for top journals by Nature, Elsevier, Sage, and Springer Nature. He has been a certified peer reviewer for Elsevier. He has published a co-authored book on research methods and several book chapters. He has presented his papers at various international conferences organized in Brazil, Russia, China, South Africa, as well as national conferences hosted by IIM Ahmedabad, IIM Nagpur, JNU, and JMI. He has received an International Award for Excellence from the BRICS Research Institute, South Africa, and the Department of Higher Education & Training, Government of South Africa. He has served as a session chair for a conference in China and has also delivered guest lectures abroad. His research interests include Marketing, Subscription, Servitization, Green Marketing, Sustainability, AI, Data Analytics, Neural Networks, and BRICS countries.
