PROFILE

Dr. Vivek Kumar Aggarwal is an Associate Professor at the Department of Applied Mathematics, Delhi Technological University, Delhi, India. He received his master’s from IIT Roorkee and doctorate (in Mathematics) degree from IIT- Kanpur India. He has published more than 50 research papers in national, international journals and conferences. He has guided 07 PhD students and currently, he is supervising 05 PhD students.He has received various awards including: Indian Govt. funding to attend ICIAM 2007 (Zurich - Switzerland), 2011 ( Vancouver- Canada), 2015 -(Beijing- China), 2019 ( Valencia - Spain),  full funding from the Brazilian Govt. to attend ICM 2018 during Aug. 1-9, 2018 held in Rio, Brazil.  He got a visiting position in Friedrich-Alexander-Universität Erlangen-Nürnberg, Germany during June - Sept. 2017, June-July 2019, 2020 (could not avail due to Covid-19). His research interests includes computational methods for differential equations and Numerical Analysis. He has completed two research projects of DST and NBHM.
