Dr. Sucheta Sardar

Dr. Sucheta Sardar is an Assistant Professor in the discipline of Economics at the University School of Management and Entrepreneurship (USME), Delhi Technological University (DTU). Prior to joining DTU, she served as an Assistant Professor at BML Munjal University and Sharda University, where she taught courses in Economics to undergraduate and postgraduate students. She has over five years of teaching experience, with expertise in subjects such as Macroeconomics, Econometrics, Microeconomics, and Managerial Economics. Dr. Sardar began her academic career as an Assistant Professor at Sharda University in 2020. She has received the prestigious Erasmus Scholarship facilitated by Leipzig University, Germany.

Dr. Sardar holds a Ph.D. in Economics from Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU), specializing in the Centre for Economic Studies and Planning under the School of Social Sciences. Her research interests span a wide range of areas, including Macroeconomics, Gender, Agriculture and Business Groups. She completed her Master’s in Economics and MPhil in Development Studies from University of Calcutta. Complementing her scholarly pursuits, Dr. Sucheta has provided valuable consulting and research advocacy services to a range of Civil Society Organizations, including Oxfam India, World Vision, and HomeNet South Asia. She has published in various reputed journals and edited books.
