Dr. Seema is an Assistant Professor at DSM, DTU in the discipline of Management. She has earned her PhD in Organizational Behavior & Human Resource Management from NIT Kurukshetra. She previously served as a Visiting Faculty at IIT Jammu and Chitkara University’s Doctoral Research Centre, with more than 10 years of combined experience in industry, teaching, and research. Her doctoral research examined moonlighting intentions among IT professionals, and her core expertise lies in work behaviors especially in non-standard employments, agile workforce, platform/gig working and leadership in contemporary work settings. She has qualified UGC-NET thrice and awarded fellowship at NITK by MHRD (2018-22). She has authored more than 15 research publications in globally reputed outlets published by Elsevier ScienceDirect, SAGE, Taylor & Francis, Emerald, and Springer, with indexing in ABDC, ABS, SSCI, Scopus & Web of Science (WoS). She has actively presented at top-tier conferences hosted by IITs, NITs, and international organizations, with her research contributing to both academic knowledge and policy-level discussions in India’s evolving employment landscape. She also serves as a peer reviewer for reputed international journals such as Behaviour & Information technology, Higher Education Quarterly, Global Business & Organizational Excellence & Cogent Business & Management. She is also an internationally certified trainer and counsellor under The Colombo Plan. Her industry background includes impactful roles in HR leadership at Trident Group and capacity-building programs under the Ministry of Social Justice & Empowerment (GoI) projects for Northern India.
