PROFILE

Prof. Seba Susan has been working as a Professor in the Department of Information Technology at Delhi Technological University (DTU) since 2021. She has twenty-three years of experience in teaching, academics, and research. She completed her Ph.D from the Electrical Engineering Department of IIT Delhi in 2014. She was among the top-241 performers out of 5308 in the pedagogy course - ICT for Education & Pedagogy program conducted by IIT Bombay in 2017. Her research areas are Natural Language Processing & Generation, Large Language Models, Computer Vision, Deep learning, Machine learning, Soft Computing, Data Mining, Biomedical and Bioinformatics, with  the area of specialization being the development of Soft Computing tools for Pattern Recognition across various modalities (image, speech, text, sensor data). She is a member of the IEEE Computational Intelligence Society, IEEE Signal Processing Society and the IEEE Computer Society and a life member of the Computer Society of India (CSI). She has published more than 160 papers in international journals and conferences. She is a reviewer for several international journals, including IEEE Transactions. She is listed in Stanford University’s top 2% scientists in the world (2024, 2025).
