PROFILE

I am currently an Assistant Professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at Delhi Technological University (DTU). My research interests lie in nonlinear elasticity, soft materials, and computational solid mechanics. I completed my postdoctoral research at Indian Institute of Technology Bombay, where I worked on advanced theoretical modeling and numerical methods with a focus on understanding mechanical instabilities such as wrinkling, creasing, and buckling in soft structures. I received my Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from Indian Institute of Technology Bhubaneswar, focusing on the analysis of hyperelastic structures and instability phenomena. My work combines mechanics theory with computational tools and finite element methods, and I am passionate about teaching core mechanical engineering subjects and mentoring students.
