PROFILE

Dr. Sandeep Kumar is an Assistant Professor in Mechanical Engineering Department at Delhi Technological University. He obtained his Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Roorkee in 2019. He completed his M.Tech. in Mechanical Engineering from IIT Roorkee in 2013 and earned his B.Tech. in Production Engineering from G. B. Pant University of Agriculture & Technology, Pantnagar in 2010. His research primarily focuses on ultrasonic machining, micro-ultrasonic machining, advanced and hybrid manufacturing processes, processing of composites, microfabrication, Dissimilar Metal joining, AM and optimization of manufacturing processes. Dr. Kumar has published more than 20 research papers in reputed international journals and conferences. He is an inventor with two granted Indian patents. Dr. Kumar has over 5 years of combined teaching, research, and academic experience.
