Prof. Manoj Kumar Sharma

Dr. Manoj Kumar Sharma is an alumnus of Delhi College of Engineering and IIT Delhi, having Bachelor and master’s degree in engineering (First Class with Distinction), MBA and Ph.D. in Management (Strategic Performance  Management of Telecom companies) from DMS, IIT Delhi. He has experience of 29 years in various capacities as a contributor and learner, in Academics, Industry and Government as Teacher, Manager, Advisor. Currently, he is Full-Time Visiting Professor in areas of Strategic Management, Business Analytics, Innovation, Entrepreneurship and New Venture Development at University School of Management and Entrepreneurship (USME), DTU East Delhi Campus of Delhi Technological University (Established by Govt. of NCT of Delhi).

Dr. Sharma has served as faculty at Department of Management Studies (DSM), Indian Institute of Technology Delhi (IIT Delhi). He is on Expert panel for selection of  faculty in area of “Strategy” for leading business school of India. His other academic work & related experience includes honorary faculty position at prestigious management Institutes in India including spcialised training institutes in india. Dr. Sharma has written research papers in peer reviewed Journal (SpringerNature), Book Chapters in (SpringerNature), Chaired-International conferences in many countries.

 Dr. Sharma has also served in Government as Advisor : IT & E-Governance at NOIDA, Govt. of UP / Member of the National Council (NCVT, an apex policy making body) under Ministry of Labour & Employment, Govt. of India/ In corporate as board of directors of companies / CEO of DTU IIF  [ DTU Innovation and Incubation Foundation ( Section 8 Company) ] promoted by Delhi Technological University  / Officer on Special Duty (OSD) and Associate Director of DTU East Delhi Campus of Delhi Technological University. He was selected as  ‘Mentor of change’ of NITI Aayog and served as "Expert Committee Member" for framing ‘Startup Policy' of Govt. of NCT of Delhi. He has served as  'Academic Council' / 'Executive Council' Member of Mahamaya Technical University as a 'Dean of Faculty of Management' (Now Dr. AKT University, Estab. by Govt. of UP) and Academic Council Member (Sp. Invitee of Hon'ble VC) of Delhi Technological University (DTU) / Indira Gandhi Delhi Technical University for Women (IGDTUW).
