PROFILE

Kaustubh Ranjan Singh is a faculty member and researcher specializing in wireless communications, software-defined radio (SDR), unmanned aerial systems (UAS), and emerging 5G/6G network technologies. His work encompasses SWIPT-enabled relaying, NOMA-based architectures, UAV-assisted communication systems, and advanced RF sensing and geolocation techniques. He has contributed research articles to leading journals and has presented his work at recognized international forums. 

His current research involves UAV-based RF jamming detection and geolocation frameworks, GPS-denied navigation solutions, SDR-driven communication waveform design, and integrated IoT–5G architectures for resilient communication networks. His drone-based RF research initiative was recognized at the Tri-Services Academia Technology Symposium (22–23 September 2025) as one of the most promising projects for further R&D. He holds the Amateur Radio Restricted Grade Licence awarded by the Wireless Planning & Coordination Wing, Department of Telecommunications, Government of India.
