PROFILE
Dr. Chandan Sharma joined DTU as Assistant Professor in Feb-2018. He completed his Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM) from Indian Institute of Management, Indore in 2008 and
Bachelor of Engineering from Delhi College of Engineering, University of Delhi in Mechanical Engineering in 2006 and PhD in 2023 from DTU. Prior to joining DTU, he has worked in the Financial Services Industry for almost 10 years. He has rich industry experience in both Indian equity and debt markets. He has worked in equity research area during the period May 2008- Mar 2011. During the period Mar 2011-Feb 2018, he was working in corporate credit rating area and has been involved in the credit rating of large domestic corporates. He has extensively engaged Promoters and Senior Management of Corporates as well as market participants such as Domestic Institutional Investors, Foreign Institutional Investors, and Senior Bankers during his stint in the credit rating industry. He has also authored research on various domestic industries. His views on companies and industries have appeared in leading print and electronic media.
