PROFILE

Dr. Barun Kanoo is an environmental researcher, specializing in waste management, biomass conversion, thermochemical treatment technologies and groundwater treatment. He holds a Ph.D. from IIT Bombay, where his research focused on sustainable waste valorization strategies, including hydrothermal carbonization, composting, and incineration. With multiple SCI-indexed publications, an Indian patent, and extensive experience in circular economy approaches at the field scale, Dr. Barun aims to contribute to innovative waste-to-resource technologies.
