Dr. Ashish Kumar

Dr. Ashish Kumar is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at Delhi Technological University (DTU), Delhi. He holds a Ph.D. (full-time) and an M.Tech. Degree from DTU, Delhi. He obtained his B.E. Degree from SATI Vidisha. During his doctoral studies, he served as a JRF and SRF. He has also qualified GATE and UGC-NET for Assistant Professor. He received DTU's Commendable Research Award in 2022 and a Best Paper Award in 2017. His research interests include Cryptography & Information Security, Data Privacy, Computer Vision, Image Processing, AI & Machine Learning. He has published his work in international journals, conferences, and also holds a published patent, and reviews for several peer-reviewed journals. With over 4+ years of teaching experience, He has also held significant administrative roles, including Technical Committee Coordinator, Library In-charge, and Co-Convenor of an international conference. 

Currently working as an Assistant Professor at Dept. of CSE, Delhi Technological University, Delhi Worked as an Assistant Professor at Vivekandan Institute of Professional Studies-Technical Campus. [August 21- March 2025] Worked as an Assistant Professor at HMR Institute of Technology and Management, Delhi, India [December 20-July 21] Worked as Guest Lecturer for one year in the Department of Information Technology at Delhi Technological University. Worked as JRF and SRF Under UGC during PhD at Delhi Technological University, Delhi.
