PROFILE

Dr. ANUSHRUTI VAGRANI is an Assistant Professor at USME, DTU. She is an MBA, MCA, UGC-NET-JRF/SRF fellow, and has received her Ph.D. from the Department of Management Studies, Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi. Her thesis is in the broader area of Information Communications Technology and Development (ICTD), focusing on the Internet and inequality in the context of rural households in Rajasthan, India. Skilled in qualitative and mixed-method research with long-term ethnographic research experience, she has developed leadership and mentoring skills through lecturer positions in management colleges in Rajasthan and teaching assistance for management classes at DMS, Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi.

She has worked on several research projects with prestigious institutions, including IIT Delhi, LIRNEasia, CSC e-Governance Services, and the Ministry of Communications & Information Technology. Her primary research interests include an anthropological focus on technology adoption, usage, impact, and interactions between technology, social contexts, inequality, and development. Her research has been published as Scopus-listed journal articles, book chapters, reports, and proceedings in prestigious academic conferences.
