PROFILE

Dr. Anant Bhardwaj is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at Delhi Technological University (DTU), Delhi. He earned his Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University (AKTU), Lucknow in 2015 and completed his Master's degree in Production Engineering from Delhi Technological University (DTU), Delhi in 2019. He was awarded a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from DTU in March 2024.

Dr. Bhardwaj began his professional career as a Graduate Apprentice Trainee at Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited (BHEL), Haridwar, where he worked in the STE-RPD Department and the Mechanical Maintenance Division (New Blade Shop). He has extensive teaching experience as an Assistant Professor in Mechanical Engineering at several reputed institutions, including colleges affiliated with Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (GGSIPU), Delhi, and Delhi Skill and Entrepreneurship University (DSEU), Delhi. He has also served as a faculty member at KIET Group of Institutions, Ghaziabad, and Poornima College of Engineering, Jaipur.

Currently, Dr. Bhardwaj is actively engaged in teaching, research, and academic development at DTU. His research interests encompass non-conventional machining processes, surface finishing processes, material characterization, additive manufacturing, composite materials, and sustainable manufacturing. He has contributed to the advancement of manufacturing engineering through his research and academic activities, with a focus on developing innovative and sustainable engineering solutions.
