  1. Basic Electrical Engineering Lab:
  1. Setting up of new experiments, and revision of the Lab manual multiple times.
  2. Prepared Virtual Lab Manual for Basic Electrical Engineering Lab.

  1. Prepared Virtual Lab Manual for Numerical Engineering and Optimization Methods (NEOM) Lab.

 

  1. Control Systems, and Electrical Machines Lab:
  1.   Set up  above two laboratories at Indira Gandhi Institute of Technology   (IGIT)    during lien period.
  1. Power Systems Stability Lab:
  1. Set up Prepared the Lab and prepared Lab Manual for B.Tech. (evening).
  1. Electric Vehicle (EV)/Intelligent Transportation System (ITS) Lab:

           Instrumental in setting up of industry sponsored lab under MoU with HBSS/ONNYX, with focus on (i) Retro-fitting of vehicles (conversion of ICE to EV), (ii) Smart Traffic Light Solution.

 

CONSULTANCY AND INDUSTRY – INSTITUTE INTERACTION

An MOU has been signed between EED, DTU and HBSS Pvt. Ltd. in Jan.,18. It is an ITS company set up an alumni of DCE. The following activities are being carried out:

  • Setting up of  EV/ITS lab.
  • Successfully completed the Retrofitting of an old omni van.
  • Procured  14 seater E-bus on 50:50 sharing basis.
  • HBSS has brought one EV which is plying in DTU campus. This is equipped with GPS and QRyde software. Students I card have been integrated with this software.
  • Many Student teams are working on various projects.

 

     Achievements In Respect of  HOD

  • Started one M.Tech Programme of Power Electronics and Systems (PES) from the academic session 2020-21.
  • Introduced two industry based electives in 5th sem. and many in 7th and 8th sem.
  • Introduced two industry based minors: Machine Learning for IOT Systems, Power Electronics and Renewable Energy Systems for B.Tech. (EE) students and one minor in Electrical Engineering for B.Tech. students of other department.

      Achievements In Respect of  B. Tech. (Eve) Course

  • Academic schedule from admissions to results was streamlined.
  • Pre-session and post-session activities were identified and were properly scheduled.
  • Eight Research Papers were published.

 FACULTY DEVELOPMENT PROGRAMME:

  1. Was a member of Organizing Committee and Participated in Online Faculty Development Programme on “Power Quality and Reactive Power Management”, organized by the Department of Electrical Engineering, Delhi Technological University, Delhi in association with Clariant Power System Ltd., Pune, during 06th -10th July 2020. It was an Industry driven course. More than 800 participated from India and abroad.
