R&D

  • Supervised UG and PG students in the area of Kinematics of Machines/ Dynamics of Machines/ Production and Industrial Engineering as well as Tribology

  • Acted as Investigator of Ministry of New and Renewable Energy, Govt. of India sponsored project “Development of an efficient biodiesel reactor for rural application and utilization of multi feedstock derived biodiesel in medium capacity diesel engine” along with principal investigator Prof. Naveen Kumar. The total grant sanctioned by the ministry is Rs. 20.92 lacs.
  • Acted as investigator of PCRA sponsored project “Development & process optimization of medium capacity state of art biodiesel processing unit’ along with principal investigator Prof. Naveen Kumar. The total grant sanctioned by PCRA was Rs. 15 lacs.
  • Acted as investigator of Yanmar Co. Ltd., Osaka, Japan funded project “Performance & Endurance Tests on Yanmar 10 KW Diesel Generator set fuelled with neat biodiesel (B100). along with principal investigator Prof. Naveen Kumar. The engine was run for 10,000 hours on neat jatropha biodiesel to access the suitability of B100 application in existing design of diesel engine. The project is aimed towards development of biodiesel specific engine considering the outcome of the project.
  • Research Lab. Development “Developing Tribology Lab. with very good facility for the research activity of Ph.D. level where different scholars from different institute are benefited and are continuously working.
