Dr. Ravindra Singh holds a B.Tech in Mechanical from UP Technical University, Lucknow, and an M.Des in Industrial Design from the Indian Institute of Information Technology, Design, and Manufacturing, Jabalpur. He holds a Ph.D. in “Universal Design- Design for all from” the Indian Institute of Information Technology, Design, and Manufacturing, Jabalpur (An Institute of National Importance). He joined UP Institute of Design Noida as an Assistant Professor and developed a curriculum for B.Des. and M.Des, labs facilities, etc. After working for almost 1.5 yr, Ravindra left UPID and joined Delhi Technological University as an Assistant Professor at the Department of Design. He is passionate about human-centric design, designing a product for a wide variety of users. His major research interest is Universal Design, Innovative Product Design, Sustainability, and Frugal Design. He has authored research papers in referred journals and international conferences.
