Dr. Kamal Kishor is currently working as Assistant Professor, Applied Physics Department, Delhi Technological university (Formerly known as Delhi college of Engineering, University of Delhi), Delhi since 2011. He received his Ph.D. in “Characterization of Photonic Crystal Fibers and Metamaterials: Theory and Experiments” under the supervision of Prof. R.K.Sinha from the University of Delhi, India. He has more than 15 years of teaching and research experience. He has also worked as visiting faculty in Department of Physics, Motilal Nehru College, University of Delhi, Bhartiya Vidyapeeth College of Engineering, Maharaja Agrasen Institute of Technology, Delhi College of Engineering etc. He is a member of the International Society of Optical Engineering (SPIE, USA), a member of the Optical Society of America (OSA, USA). SPIE—The International Society for Optical Engineering, USA has felicitated him with “Research Excellence Award” in 2010. He is reviewer of many International Journals. His interest area is Optical Communication and Photonics. He is currently working in the area of Optical Fiber Communication System, Photonics Crystal Fibers, Metamaterials based antenna, Sensors, NanoPhotonics: Devices, etc.
