I've lost my library ID card, how do I get a replacement?

Duplicate cards can be obtained from the Information Support Desk after completing certain formalities like submitting a duplicate request form and a photograph alongwith copy of FIR and an undertaking. We cannot make cards up immediately but they will usually be ready within two or three working days.

I'm a graduate of the College, can I use the Library? Can I use the computers in the Library?

Students who have graduated from the University can use the facilites of the Library but books and other material shall not be issued. It is not possible for students from other institutions to use the networked computers in the Central Library. However they can use the online catalogue PCs (web catalogue browsers) . Specific permission can be given for use of library resources for limited period to the students having being refered by the librarian of the Institute students belong to.

Where do I return books?

Books can be returned to the Circulation Desk on the ground floor during allowed hours. If you are likely to want to borrow again the same day you should note that the books may not be checked in for several hours at busy times.
