All fresh admission will be provisional and shall be confirmed only after the candidates have been examined medically according to the norms laid down by the Institute from time to time.

Students applying for admission to the Institute should, however note that various employing agencies (public Sector as well as Private Sector and Govt. Deptts.) have prescribed their own standards of medical fitness for engineering graduates seeking employment in their organization. Those who contemplate to seek employment in those organizations after their graduation should verify for themselves if they satisfy the standards of medical fitness before they decide to join the Institute so as to avoid disappointment later. It should be clearly understood, however, that the Institute takes no responsibility, whatsoever, in this regard.
