Earlier it was compulsory for all B. Tech. students. Half of them use to do in the odd semester and rest in the even semester. Now, it is optional.

The Board of Studies of the Humanities Department has approved an award in each semester entitled, “Amartya Sen Award for Best Student’s Intervention” for the best Assignment submitted by a group of students.
