Technical Skills (Instrument/laboratory expertise using advanced spectroscopic equipment)                 

  • Installation, maintenance, and operation of various types of spectroscopic instruments like Spectrophotometer, Spectrofluorometer, Time-correlated single photon counting fluorescence spectrometer, Boxcar-averager and low temperature assembly.
  • Experience of installation, maintenance and operation of very short pulse generators like ms, ns & ps range pulse through flash lamp, H2 & N2 gas discharge lamp, N2 laser and Nd-YAG laser with dye laser.
  • Experience of working with Ti:sapphire laser (~80 fs and 80 MHz) with second harmonics generation (SHG) and third harmonics generation (THG) (pulse width is ~200 fs) combined with TCSPCT and external electric field.
  • Experience in handling Electro-absorption and Electro-fluorescence techniques with analysis software for Electric field modulation spectroscopy.
