Dr. Alok Verma has a teaching experience of around twenty years. He has around thirty research papers, many of those in International journals and conferences, to his credit. He has been an author for a review book on Civil Engineering and a co-author for many reports and proceedings. He is a member of the committee CED – 39 of Bureau of Indian Standards, New Delhi (India) considering revision of Indian standard guidelines and code provisions in Earthquake Engineering. He has been associated with post-earthquake damage surveys and rehabilitation projects. He has organized many short term workshops & seminars and has been associated with many consultancy projects.

Dr Alok Verma has research interests in the area of Earthquake technology and use of fuzzy logic and neural networking in the area of durability studies.
