Mr. Nishnat Singh Rana and Mr. Rudrev Dave has been selected for support under the NIDHI Prayas Scheme of the Department of Science and Technology (DST), Government of India (March 2017) at iCreateThe team is working towards making an indigenous MULTI UTILITY SINGLE PLATFORM UNMANNED AERIAL PLATFORM and will be working on prototype development. The team will be working in Gujarat for 18 months with a funding of Rs. 10 lakhs.

  • Mr. Than Singh Saini has been awarded by SPIETravel Grant Award  for SPIE Optics + Photonics in the amount of $2500 in 2013.

  • PHOTONICS 2012Awards: Mr. Akshit Peer & Mr. Gautam PrabhakarDelhi  Technological University won the PHOTONICS 2012 Best Paper Award (second prize) for the paper entitled A Microstructured Dual-Core Dispersion Compensating Fiber Design for Large-Mode-Area High-Negative Dispersion at the International Conference on Fiber Optics and Photonics (PHOTONICS 2012) held at IIT Madras. The award consists of a Citation and Rs. 5000 cash. The co-authors of the paper are Dr. Vipul Rastogi and Dr. Ajeet Kumar.
  • Mr. Akshit Peer & Mr. Gautam Prabhakar presented a paper titled “Finite Element Analysis of Solid-Core Photonic Crystal Fiber" in IEEE-Students Conference on Engineering and Systems (SCES 2012) at Motilal Nehru National Institute of Technology, Allahabad and won the Best Paper Award.
  •  Mr. Akshit Peer & Mr. Gautam Prabhakar presented a micro-talk on “Analysis of Solid Core Photonic Crystal Fiber using FEM” at IONS Conference (December 1-2, 2011) in Indian Institute of Technology Delhi and won the first prize.
  •  Mr. Akshit Peer & Mr. Gautam Prabhakar presented a paper on “Analysis of Solid Core Photonic Crystal Fiber using FEM” at ENCOMIUM, the annual technical festival of Jamia Millia Islamia, Delhi on January 28, 2012 and won the first prize.
