Delhi School of Management benefits from a highly evolved pedagogy that focuses on action-oriented learning with special emphasis on interactive lectures, case studies, class projects & exercises, field projects & industrial visits, video presentations, guest lectures from industry experts, and activity labs.

1. Case Study Approach: All the faculty members have incorporated a case study approach in their teaching pedagogy. This helps in linking theoretical concepts with real-world problems and helps students in developing their analytical skills.

2. Innovative Projects/Assignments: Faculty members have incorporated innovative project assignments within the course in the form of simulations, real-time business problems and challenges, etc. This helps in stimulating classroom discussion and promotes innovative learning.

3. Group Projects: Students are given group projects to improve their self-learning and group-learning through team work.

4. Research Projects: Students are given research projects in different areas during the MBA programme. These projects help students link their classroom learning with the problems/situations in the industry and provide solutions.

5. Focus beyond Classroom Learning: The department conducts various field visits which focuses on beyond the classroom learning. It provides students with a mix of classroom learning as well as industry experience.

6. Use of softwares/databases in teaching: The faculty members have incorporated softwares/database-based teaching in various courses. Teaching through various databases like Prowess, Securities Data Company (SDC) Platinum, SCOPUS, Emerald and EBSCO and softwares like MS Excel, IBM SPSS, R Studio and Python have been blended into various courses to develop scientific temper and research-oriented mindset.

7. ICT-based Learning:Teaching and learning in our department has been transformed into ICT-based learning through online lectures, google classrooms and technical presentations. Beside fostering innovative teaching and learning, it also helps in maintaining 24X7 discussion with students, helps in improving their communication skills and provides a forum for discussion.

8. Industry-Academia Engagement in Course Teaching: The department invites experts from different industries to deliver lectures/talks on course related matters. This helps students in understanding the current practices and challenges in industry and helps them in better connecting their classroom learning with industry practices.

9. Student Mentoring: Student mentoring is given utmost priority at the department via various projects, assignments etc. For this purpose, students are divided into small groups and each group is guided by a mentor throughout. Mentors deliver their guidance on various research projects, helping them in transmitting their knowledge and skills which finally leads to the overall development of students.

The modules of the course are designed so as to incorporate basic concepts in the initial learning phase, followed by practical application to the contemporary business situations. The framework makes it essential for the students to contribute to the learning process by sharing accumulated knowledge and work experience through active group discussions.

Thus, over the course of two years, students are meticulously prepared by adding value to them to prepare them for the organizations they would work.
